Alice Jago

Debut Album Available 2007..its brilliant Alice Jago has played a staggering amount of gigs around the country, including opening slots for: Roger Mcguinn (Ex Byrds), Miles Hunt (Wonderstuff) The Terry Woods band, The Frames, The Walls, The 4 of Us, Kila, Turn, The Waifs,Woodstar,She opened the gig @ the HQ dublin (Bob Dylan tribute night )which bill included Paul Brady ,Dervish & The Fleadh Cowboys ... Alice has also been billed regularly alongside many of her contemporaries including Mundy, Damien Dempsey, Declan O'Rourke, Ann Scott, Nina Hynes, Colm Quearney, Grada, Jerry Fish and the Mudbug Club, David Hopkins, Mark Geary, Paddy Casey, David Kitt, Damien Rice and Rosey. Her own billings have included performances at the RDS Lisdoonvarna festival and the HWCH festival in 2003. Jago has honed her craft in many late night acoustic clubs country wide, progressing to venues such as Whelan's, Vicar St., The Olympia and the Sugar Club. Her influences are wide and varied, from folk to jazz, country to bluegrass and pop, nothing is excluded.............
